Playspace
In the integrated play areas children and parents are provided with the possibility to engage in creative exploration and self-expression.
A facilitator organises the playspace to support children in open-ended play with areas that are designed with various resources to allow curiosity, emotional wellbeing and creativity.
The architecture of the studio enables children to flow between the indoor playroom, the enclosed garden and the artist studios.
Unlike formal settings, children are encouraged to take the lead in their own learning and creative discovery with the safety and comfort of having their parent close by.
Facilitators
Aneta is one of our facilitators who brings inspiration and activities in and out of our playroom!
Aneta says she loves Mother House Studios “as an open source of knowledge, ideas and inspiration. It’s a safe and welcoming environment where you feel connected, seen and open to create together”.
Aneta was director at @kidskitchencommunity for more than 10 years and since 2023 has bought her knowledge in cooking, craft and community to Mother House Studios: Lewisham.
